Hilariion accepts up to 2 dogs. Seaview is a village that genuinely works for both. The beach is accessible and sheltered, the coastal path to Priory Bay is wide and well-maintained, and Hilarion's own outdoor shower means sandy paws and feet are dealt with long before anyone reaches the front door.

Hilarion's end-of-terrace position gives it a perspective over the village that very few homes in Seaview can offer. The Solent views aren't anchored to one room, they move with you, from the sitting room with its log burner through to the kitchen, out onto the dining patio and around to the fire pit. Hilarion sits at the centre of Seaview village, with the beach just a two to five minute walk from the front door, close enough to be spontaneous about it, far enough to come home to genuine peace and quiet.

Seaview's own beach is the natural starting point, clear waters, a classic Isle of Wight seafront and the kind of easy access that makes a difference when you're travelling with children and dogs. From here, the coastal path opens up in both directions. Head east at low tide and you'll reach Seagrove Bay before arriving at Priory Bay, one of the island's most beautiful stretches of sand, backed by woodland and reliably dog friendly year round. It's a walk that rewards every time.

The village is exceptionally well served for its size. The Seaview Hotel, just a short stroll from Hilarion, is one of the most celebrated restaurants on the island, holding two AA rosettes and offering a dining experience well worth booking ahead for. For something more relaxed, the village's independent shops and deli are on your doorstep, ideal for stocking up on local produce for the kitchen or picking up breakfast on your way to the beach.

Ryde is under three miles away, with hovercraft and ferry connections to the mainland making this a practical base whether you're arriving by car or travelling independently. The rest of the island, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Yarmouth, is easily reachable for day trips.
